Septics! This would seem to be a word used in military circles, but not in civvy street.

At first on these forums I did not know the meaning of the word, but soon came to realize that it was the term for our cousins across the pond, the yanks.

I was demobbed in 1950 from this Regt and I've never seen mention of it anywhere. Was it disbanded or did it just fade into oblivion? I was Battery clerk on 117 battery.
